1) WH- Questions: As the title has it, these are question words like what, why, where, when, who, whom, which and how.
a) What: It is used to ask a question about anything e.g What is your name?
b) Why: This question type seeks to know the reason why something is done, e.g., Why are you absent from school today?
c) Where: it reveals the place of an event or the location of something. E.g I am sick, and I need to visit the hospital. Where is it located?
d) When: it has to do when asking about the time an action took place. It can be a day, the hour, season, etc.
e) Who: The person who is in connection with a particular action. E.g Who won a gold medal during the tournament?
f) Whom: This question word is used to ask about the object of a verb in a sentence.

g) – How: It is used to ask about quantity/ degree, manner, and condition.
E.g -How are you today (condition)
– How many hamburgers did you order? (Quantity)
– How did he become the class prefect (manner)
h) Which: It gives a particular information about a limited group.
E.g Which paint did you use on the building?
